When we first joined the 593rd, early 1966, we were on the other side of the creek, where I shot this from, they all came over from the States or "The World" as we called it, together and we were looked upon as outsiders at first.
This is the 593rd at the base of the mountain by mid 1967.
It grew very quickly in a few months.
This is a shot of the TMP Motor Pool in late 1966, when it was still down town Qui Nhon, before it moved to the airstrip near the South China Sea.
